It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the 20th Ramathibodi Annual Symposium of Plastic Surgery (RASP) 2026, to be held from 3–5 June 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, at the Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel and Ramathibodi Chakri Naruebodindra Medical Institute (CNMI).

Established as one of the region’s leading academic platforms, RASP continues its commitment to excellence by convening an exceptional international faculty and a global community of plastic surgeons dedicated to advancing the field. This year’s theme, “Precision of Structural and Preservation Rhinoplasty,” reflects the evolving pursuit of balance between established structural principles and refined preservation techniques in modern rhinoplasty practice.

The scientific program has been thoughtfully curated to deliver both depth and relevance. Participants will have the opportunity to observe live surgical demonstrations by world-renowned experts, including structural rhinoplasty by Taek-Kyun Kim, MD, PhD (South Korea) and dorsal preservation rhinoplasty by Prof. Yasushi Sugawara, MD, PhD (Japan). The rhinoplasty masterclass will further explore contemporary concepts, surgical planning, and professional workflow, including insights into clinical documentation and presentation at an international level.

A defining feature of RASP 2026 is the cadaver laboratory, led by Teoman Doğan, MD, PhD (Türkiye), a globally acclaimed leader and pioneer of Teorhinoplasty, offering an exclusive opportunity for immersive, hands-on training. Designed to bridge theory with practice, this component provides a rare environment for skill refinement under direct expert guidance, with a strong emphasis on precision, safety, and reproducibility.

In addition, we are privileged to host a distinguished group of internationally renowned rhinoplasty experts from across various regions, including Prof. Hsiao Yen Chang, MD (Taiwan), Yen Pin Lin, MD (Taiwan), Assoc. Prof. Da Woon Lee, MD (Korea), Youngmook Yun, MD (Korea), Tompi Adifitrian, MD (Indonesia), and Richard Huy, MD (Vietnam). Esteemed rhinoplasty experts from Thailand will also contribute dedicated sessions, further enriching the scientific program with valuable regional expertise and perspective.

Beyond its academic excellence, RASP aims to foster meaningful dialogue, professional exchange, and enduring collaboration among colleagues from across the world. We believe that such connections are essential in shaping the future of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

We look forward to welcoming you to Bangkok for what promises to be a distinguished, enriching, and memorable meeting.
